The history of Yankee Candle

Michael Kittredge founded Yankee Candle in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Hed created a candle out of melted crayons and added a scent, which he gave to his mother for a gift. Soon, the entire neighborhood wanetd one! With help from family and friends, the homemade candle turned into a line of stores that slowly started expanding. 

Today, there are over 560 Yankee Candle locations throughout the United States.
