The history of Pickn Save

The first Pickn Save opened in Milwaukee in 1975. It was the first warehouse style supermarket in the city. Customers showed up by the thousands! Today, Pickn Save is operated by Roundys supermarkets. There are more than 100 Pickn Save store locations across Wisconsin today. 

Pickn Save helps customers give back to the community 

Its always nice to know that when you shop your money goes towards a store thats doing good work. Well, if you shop at Pickn Save, you can shop happy knowing that they do a lot of work to help give back to the community! 

As part of the Roundys supermarkets group, they do lots of work to help work on issues that are important to their local communities, especially ones related to hunger relief. There are two different ways you can do this. 

The first is by request charitable donations. You can request them either from a specific store or from the corporate offices, and all you have to do is submit your request detailing what sort of donation youd like, which organization it goes towards, how the donation will be used, and a few more details. 

You can also apply for a grant from the Roundys Fund.
