The history of Stater Bros
Stater Bros was founded in 1936 in Yucaipa, Caliornia. It was started by Leo and Cleo Stater. The siblings bought it from a person named W.A. Davis using a down payment of $600. Today, there are approximately 170 Stater Bros locations in Southern California. In 2006, it landed on the Fortune 500 list, making it the first big-name company from Californias Inland Empire to make it on the list.
